Lots of heart and enthusiasm at Parkview. Just had a rennovatiom and everyone is excited and grateful. Top debate team, good athletics and great academic programs. Teachers and administration care about the students and learning.

My school has provided me with many oppourtunities, most of which i would have never of had if i didnt go to Parkview. I think our school has one of the closest student bodies in America. As i walk through the halls, I can sense a feeling of unity . I am in debate, clubs and take all honors and couldnt ...  Read more

I'm a former student of Parkview. I spent all four of my high school year there and I love this school so much that I am going to go back and teach there. This school used to have some problems with security but thanks to Chance Wistrom all or most of those problems have been taken care of. As with all ...  Read more

Parkview is improving now that they have air-conditioned years after making the kids suffer in high temps, which led to many behavior problems. Now the kids think they may actually have begun to care about them. Still there is bullying problems there and high drop-out rate.

I graduated from PV last year and have now come to realize that it, along with the vast majority of schools in Springfield, do not prepare you for college life unless you plan on attending OTC, MSU, Drury, Mizzou, or a similar college. I had about two or three good teachers while I was there. Because ...  Read more

Parkview has an extremely diverse community of kids as well as a brand new building. It is true that some of the classes arent't challenging but that is only if you take the easiest classes that parkview has to offer. Parkview has Ap classes, Honors classes and a number of college creedit classes ...  Read more

The only good thing about the school is the diversity and building-which is in very nice shape-although built like a maze and impossible for new students. I am a junior here and cannot wait to move to get out.

Except for one teacher and one vice principal I love Parkview. I would like to see more involvement from the parents and students with re-guards to sports.
