I would not recommend this school. This school is very political on who succeeds and who does not. Everything about this town depends on who you are. We quickly noticed that the same children are chosen to be on the same sports teams, in school plays, programs, you name it! Same parents run the show ...  Read more

I think the Slater School system is a very good system. The small classrooms add a lot the the schools small town values. They have very good teachers that are there for you if you need the little extra help, just ask.

I am I high school student at Slater High. These four years are supposed to be the best of my life, I feel as if they are the worst. The 'Teachers' of this school don't take the time to listen to us, as students. These 'Teachers' are very disrespectful to the students. I have had very good learning at ...  Read more

The athletic department needs change and has needed change for several years now. There has been a lot of happenings that have been swept under ...  Read more

I have had 3 daughters go to Slater High School, the politics of the coaching is to be desired. My experience with the school the schoolwork isn't as bad but I still would not recomend sending your children to this school.

I have two kids who have graduated from the Slater School system as have my husband and myself. We have nothing but the utmost respect for the quality of education our family has received from the school. And are proud to have the kind of school system we have.

This school is a great school in a small community. The only problem I have seen is that other parents don't care for their own childrens education. Some of these children get no discipline at home and expect the school to do it for them. The teachers at Slater are more than happy to spend extra time, ...  Read more
