After years of turmoil perhaps the board realized they could no longer sweep countless complaints under the rug if they wanted to stop the masses of good families leaving each and every year. Bethany Academy is great school with amazing Christian teachers who are dedicated to each student's success. The academics are rigorous. There is not another music program like ours...anywhere. Our sports, drama and art programs are great. My kids have blossomed in this safe and nurturing environment.

... Read more of the reviews, I know there have been families who have not been happy, but you will find that anywhere. My answer to that is to personally visit the school, talk to the students, teachers and staff, have your student stay for a day and most importantly, pray about where God wants your child. We were at Bethany for a couple years, we were subject to the 6% tuition increase, followed by an the immediate 11%, we were also witness to various things commented in the other negative reviews also, we have since left. Read more we felt the administration and the school board did not feel obligated to be fully accountable and open, our questions were dismissed as unqualified, a spirit of division or part of a larger conspiracy. I to would recommend comparing tuition and academics/curriculum to the schools they consider in their top priced league. We believe the School Board itself needs more oversight in order to provide oversight. The integrity and future viability of this school depends on what they do with their responsibility not only to the children/parents but in particular, to the Lord. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
