My wife and I love Cedarcrest Academy. The school instills the Catholic faith, emphasizes the education basics of reading, writing, science and math and students are polite, respectful and smart!

This school is amazing! Small class sizes, great academics, above average test scores and single gender education from K-3rd grade, which will be continuing up into the upper grades and eventually a new high school. This is how all schools should be!!

I love the family feel of this school. The staff, teachers, and other families really go the extra mile so that everyone feels connected and as though they are an intergral part of the whole here. I feel like my child is leaps and bounds ahead academically of where she would be if she were not at Cedarcrest

I don't go to any events where I don't get comments about what a well-behaved child I have and I firmly believe that much of that dedication to succeed and behavior is due to the education she receives from Cedarcrest Academy. We recently moved here from the West coast and our transition to the Maple Grove area has been wonderful. We can overlook the crazy weather because it is ALWAYS sunny at school. The administration and staff are so united in purpose and it really shows. I can not put into words how happy my kids are

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School
"Extended day" programs where the school day is extended before and after school to accommodate working parents. These programs should not be confused with common after school clubs or athletic activities.
Gifted and Talented

visual and performing arts, special talents in visual art, music, dance, drama, or other related studies;
psychomotor ability, such as practical, spatial, mechanical, and physical skills.
Vocation/Technical Curriculum
Vocational and/or technical courses offered within a comprehensive school, usually a senior high school.
Special Education Classes
A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
