Read what parents are saying about Tri-Unity Christian SchoolIt’s unique in today’s world and culture, it stands firm on the Word of God
Posted by a parent on 8/12/2020Christian school that is very cookie cutter, very conservative. Not sure if they realize Christians come in different colors, and there is different type of Christian music. Not open to other cultures and other ways of doing things. Most of the teachers have been there forever and haven't been exposed to anything outside of their little Grandville area. As a group they can be very self-absorbed. The principal appears to be nice and Christ-like, but can be very vindictive, petty, and nasty.

Posted by a parent on 1/29/2018Graduated from Tri-Unity 7 years ago and can honestly say Tri-Unity has had a huge impact on my life, and I know it will continue to raise up kids for Christ for decades to come. I went there from kindergarten through my senior year, and I'm so thankful I had parents that made the decision early on to send me to such a Christ-centered school...
Posted by a community member on 10/19/2017Some of the teachers have been there way to long teaching the same lessons that were taught 18 yrs ago (know from personal experience). Unless you have a cookie cutter child this is not the place for you... Special Education is almost non existent... Principal is awesome as are some of the younger teachers...it does become almost family like.

All she cares about it getting on the news because South has a comfort dog, but I don't feel like she really connects with the students.Parent Review3y ago - Grandville West Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTransferred my child to this school from another school in same district with an extremely unsupportive and negative principal. The staff at Grand View is incredible. My child needs special supports and has made positive gains at Grand View that weren't possible at the previous school. The teachers at Grand View are allowed to state their opinions and be an offbeat or difficult child's champion instead of insisting the child with learning disabilities is unteachable and needs to be sent out of the district. Teacher difference between last year and this year is like night and day. My child's prior teacher was negative and irritated with him; the new teacher is positive giving regular communication and loving words. The principal and assistant principal at Grand View are phenomenal. Only con is it is a very large school and for the older children, there are "clicks" of kids. It was hard for my older child to find a comfortable fit. This wasn't an issue at the prior school but no doubt prepares my older child for middle school. GV is amazing and the staff truly cares about your child. Everything they have done for us, they have done with love and concern.Parent Review10y ago - Calvin Christian High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCentury Park Learning Center is a non-traditional school in terms of classroom structure. The multi-age classrooms are heavily dependent upon the expertise that is required of the teachers who are assigned this challenging role. As parents of a child who needs additional help in math, we did not witness an ability by most the teachers to individualize the learning experience of their students. I feel this school is best suited for those who are gifted in the core classes. It makes sense why the other Grandville schools and other districts haven't adopted the multi-age theory. On a positive note the staff is fun and involved in the social activities with our kiddos.Parent Review10y ago - Grandville Christian School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGrandville Christian is an amazing place to send our kids to school! We have three children there--two in the Spanish Immersion program and one in traditional education. We are thrilled with the care and compassion of the teaching staff, as well as their eagerness and encouragement of parent involvement. The leadership at GCS is phenomenal; the principal knows each student's name, as well as parents' names--he truly creates a welcoming, safe environment that sets the stage for eager learning! My kids love their teachers and are genuinely excited to go to school each day; I love that their teachers love them and love God...and that their heart for Jesus is displayed in their teaching & care of their students each day!Parent Review10y ago
