... Read more time and time again that they are here to help every child succeed. The parents who volunteer are fantastic. I love to know that if one of my children is hurt, need's help, or just need's a smile or hug, can turn to any of them and get that! But, I can honestly say that beyond the acedemic's and faith, St. Mary's children learn how to be good people. Service projects are something the students are very involved with. The well meaning staff is losing many children due to overburdened teachers and shrinking budget. They are not equiped to handle special needs children and the rest of the students suffer. Read more our children to have an education with faith based guidance, but we want them to be able to move forward without having to go to Sylvan Learning to make up for problems not addressed in class. My 2nd grader finally got tested after 6 months of pleading. My 4th grader is required to memorize random poems or he will not get to go out for recess. The playground is a huge problem, not enough parents involved on a daily basis to help take care of their children. I hope the incomming principal will get things on track. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School

A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
