Merritt Academy is a great school, class sizes are small and we love the uniform policy. All students are created equally. The teachers are awesome and spend after school time volunteering during special events and activites. All students have computers, art, music, physical education and spanish. Well

If your focus is on academics, this is the school for you! Located in an area that has schools focusing more on athletic offerings, Merritt has refused to lower their academic standards. There are extra curricular sports and other activities offered for a well rounded education. My children have flourished

Both of my children have been attending Merritt for 4 years. We really like the cirriculum, class size, staff. I do not like the fact that you must pre order hot luch choices a month in advance or the lack of extra cirricular activites in near non existant. I strongly disagree with the parent who

My daughter has attended this school for 6 years. All of her teachers have been top notch! I disagree completely with the comment that the teachers are unqualified! I know for a fact that they all meet the highly qualified requirements of the government! Her friends are good kids with good values.

Merritt Academy tends to hire teachers who seem as though they are unqualified to be teaching. The office staff and teachers tend to worry too much about whats going on with the students and gossip then what the kids should be learning. They need to spend less time worrying about what the kids are wearing,

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
