This school is unfailingly innnovative. The classroom structure includes working with small groups at various stations. The students phsically move throughout the day to areas that house specifi subject matter materials; therefore they can buy (for example) very high quality mathematical aides for the
... Read more whole school to share, rather than cheaper, duplicate aids for each calssroom. They do a LOT of class work outdoors. They incorporate tactile & kinethetic learning methods. They are even incorporating alternative energy sources into the schools' infrastructure. I AM the ultimate over-protective parent; rarely is anything good enough for my darlings. But Chatfield is everything I could dream of in a school. I have to provide meals & snacks & trasportation but, it is more than worth it for my girls to get such an amazing school experience Read less

All of my children have attended this school, and my experience thus far, has been dismall when it comes to administrative quality. ... Read more of hands-on learning in an environment that has supported their individual needs. My son has scored consistently in the 95+ percentile statewide on all tests. The teachers and staff truly love their jobs, which is evident on the number of 'extras' the children are exposed to. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course.
