St Therese is a school of many faiths and nationalities. Each child is encouraged to develop their own individuality. The teachers are energetic and bring their own individuality to an excellent academic program. The extracurricular activites that the children have a chance to do throughout the year
... Read more are very enriching. The parents organization is very involved and raises money to help the school with operating costs along with new items purchased for the school. They have purchased new text books and most recently, resources for the Spanish class. I love that the older children in junior high get a chance to interact with the younger grades. Every class has a buddy in a higher grade that they get together with for activites such as art projects or sharing a story.The school has recently put together a student council that is looking into more ideas for extracurricular activities. ... Read more ones. The administration and faculty do not encourage questions from precocious pre-teens. No extracurriculars outside of the athletics program (basically basketball and cheerleading) or church services. If you are Catholic, the students can receive sacrament -- after several out-of-class night sessions. Very inconvenient for working parents. Parents are controlling, and will make you pay for not 'volunteering' to help. In short: St. Therese won't prepare your adolescent child for public high school or university. Either send them JUST for elementary, or keep them on the private-schooled track. Great for Pre-K through 5th. Read less

We have our son at St Therese in the preschool program and we couldn't be happier. The preschool is absolutely wonderful and the teachers are very caring, committed professionals. I always feel very comfortable when I am in the school and I know that my son is getting a high quality religious education.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course.
