... Read more a child in middle school. I have had great communication with both of their teachers and feel that the last parent that posted the review is incorrect or just a disgruntled parent. I also would like to state that my children have been able to read since kindergarten and have scored above and beyond on the DRA levels every year, usually at least a grade of what the range is supposed to be. Both my children attend Landmark Academy and up until now I have been very satisfied with the school. Any time you have a problem no one is ever availible and when you email them they never respond. The school has the lowest meap scores in the whole district every year. (as the scores are published

And my other child in the middle school is givin an A for every assignment turned in just for doing it no matter what she has wrong. I am very disappointed in this school since the principal just up and left it has went to the dogs and they should be ashamed of themselves. Landmark is a school that centers itself around the needs of children. The staff cares for every child and does their best to help students succeed. The Middle School teachers are amazing. They really know how to care and tend to the middle school age children.

We enrolled our daughter into landmark academy her kindergarten year. We were excited to attend this school because we liked the text books that the school used as well as the dress code they had. Our child is a good student and therefore felt that she would get the sort of attention she needed in order
... Read more to spread her horizons. We loved the teachers at the school that we personally had to deal with, and the office staff were very pleasant and cheerful! However, we were not impressed with the administration. If a parent has an issue that needs to be dealt with and the administration doesn't help you solve it then you really have nobody else to go to for answers so you are stuck with there decisions. In the public schools you always have someone higher to go to in order to help solve your concerns! Read less

If you have a student who needs extra help for special education, this is the school for you. If you have a child who needs to be challenged or is advanced, I would look to another school. There is not any enrichment available to students who are advanced.

What a wonderful concept! This school teaches my child as an individual, as it should! The staff and teachers are wonderful. If you are a parent who has a child who has fallen behind because of his/her learning style doesn't mesh with the public schools, you should seriously consider this school.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course.
