My son has been a student here since Kindergarten, and is know in the 5th grade. I reall y love the education that my son is getting here at Paragon, and how they challenge him everyday. I switched my child to Paragon when she was starting third grade because I wanted the best possible emotional and educational environment for her: to enjoy life in the present; and to prepare her for college and beyond. She came with baggage, making it an uphill climb. She has generally met this challenge
... Read more with hard work and persistance, working at home every summer to make up for lost ground. Suffering from low self esteem, she has had some difficult times. One time, she gave up completely on herself. She begged to be home schooled, and I worked with her from home while seeking advice from the school counselor, her teacher and the principal. Paragon was as flexible as possible (given outside constraints) and fairly supportive. They encouraged us to return her to face her issues with some counseling support. We took their advice, and she is now thriving in sixth grade. Read less

Paragon is an excellent school. I have two children enrolled at Paragon and this is our third year attending this school. The teachers are top notch and go the extra mile to challenge each individual child. The emphasis on moral focus is a plus and the amount of parent involvement on a daily basis

Paragon is an ok school. They dont really have any after school activities like jps. They have no advanced courses and no A.P. classes. They should have high school credits too. Paragon needs to be upgraded and improved. I have moved my child to jps schools and they have so many encore classes and A.P.

Paragon is a wonderful school, if you have a child who fits into there style of teaching -- which is very rigid. There is alot of emphasis put on mastering a certain skill, moving to the next level etc. -- I had a kindergartner who would come home crying -- the 'team' that is the class puts a lot of

I also agree with another review that special ed services are difficult to obtain at best -- they dont seem to want to deal with learning disabilities instead they tend to retain these students, only putting them farther behind. I have not heard of kids being retained at any other local district the way they are here. I guess it helps to keep there test scores high?! Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
