Garber High School is considered one of the best schools in the Bay City, Essexville area but i disagree. The other problem i had was that the students at Garber are to sheltered there is no diversity, ...  Read more

I think that Garber is a great school but they do give way to much homework. the teachers are great but the subjects are horrible. My favorite teacher would have to be Mr.Barassi...........:)

the teachers give waaaaaaay too much homework and the students get in trouble when they dont have it all completed. I think we should be at least rewarded for what we have done... the standards are way to high at this school for the students. we have lives... and we dont have time to do that much work.

This school should rank at 10. It has an outstanding staff and excellent community support. It offers the best curriculum and extra-curricular achievement in the area.

I, too, am a former student. I moved away my junior year. The teaching at Garber is outstanding; the atmosphere is oppressive. There is not much room for difference. Students can be cruel to outsiders, and teachers--for the most part--look the other way. But the education I received there was excellent.

Once a Garber student myself, I'm giving a first hand look at how the school is run. You see, though the academics are excellent students are lacking social skills. However, well mannored these kids seems to be the school lacks adversity, acceptance, and kindness. I am not blaming the kids directly, ...  Read more

Academics are number one in this school. Music, arts, sports and theater extracurricular activities are considered part of the high school experience and are encouraged, but only once academics are satisfactory. Parents are highly involved and the teachers love it (especially since it is a small town ...  Read more
