I went to Kelly for 6th ,7th and 8th . I go to the high school this year.this school is a very high learning plan and never gives up on the teens.. The teachers love and care for each one..And Mr.Hamden is so sweet..And most think that kids get in fights well they do but not as much as the high school.

Teachers and principals can only do so much- parents need to work with their children too and be involved in their educational success and take the part of the blame for the failures. The academics at Kelly are in line with my nieces and nephews that attend South Lake and Fraser schools. And his football team was undefeated. Kudo's to you! Read less

My child has attended Kelly for 6th and 7th grade and this is her last year there. I have been very happy with her teachers and she has done well there. I do not know how the curriculum measures up with other schools. I wish the district had more money to put into the athletic department. I was not

Two of my daughters have attended Kelly Middle School, they have both gotten phenominal grades in the two years they attended there. Mr.Hamden is very kind and treats all his students equally and as if they were his own children. He cares about their saftey and well being. There are many diverse teachers
... Read more there, and they are all very kind. In fact, my daughter has brought home reports about her african american substitute, and her asian teacher. I would very strongly reccomend this school to anyone who lives in the Eastpointe area and wants their child to attend a great public Jr. highschool. Read less

... Read more colors plays an important role of the entire staff! Their are no diverse staff employed at Kelly. The teachers care more about pay than the education being taught. I would not reccomend Kelly to anyone with an intellagent child. You may as well send your child to a Detroit Public School! The dress code stated in the guide is appropriate but do they follow they guideline? No! Kids attend school with outrageous colored hair and nails (boys and girls). Parking is a jam everyday! My daughter has went to this school in 7th grade. The principal is well dedicated to his job but the students are out of control I would not recommand this school to anyone their meap scores are felling the kids are behind in 3/4 of their subjects. The kids are not discipined to do any thing right.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
