I would agree with much of what is said here. The school is a true Christian school. The students are respectful, and, in my view, very welcoming of new students. The kids don't have to deal with a lot of the problems kids in other schools deal with. The big problems are kids talking too much and
... Read more chewing gum in class. However, the science program is definitely lacking, whether or not it's enough to impede one's higher education is debatable. The academic success of the students is above average, however the school is greatly limited in its financial resources, and this seems to really put a strain on any improvements in the curriculum and technology. All in all, for those parents concerned with their children getting a truly Christian education, being surrounded by Christian kids, and teachers who are committed and caring, this is an excellent school. I was also saddened by the fact that even though I brought a very negative situation in the classroom to the attention of the Assistant Prinicipal there has been no response from anyone at the school in THREE weeks. I have since disenrolled my child and they seem content for me to go away quietly. I am also concerned about the lack of diversity on the teaching and admin staff that may be contributing to some of the insensitivity I experienced. Read less

Agape is an exceptional Christian School with wonderfully qualified kind-hearted staff, exceptional curriculum and strong Christ-centered values. I have two children in the elementary program and they are both thriving, both in academics and spiritual understanding.

Agape has committed, experienced teachers and an administration staff who sincerely care and want to see their students exceed in every way. ... Read more the school, in which students whose parents attend the accompanying Agape Church, are given preference. Another big problem going on is that teachers want to have absolute and complete control over what the students learn. Parental involvement in any type of curriculum decisions are far less than in public and charter schools. Any attempt to break through this wall the school has put up is met with complete scorn and near derision, as well as the School making concerned students and their respective parents feel as they may not be 'religious enough'. My child began attending Agape Christian Academy this year (2005-2006)as a K4 student. I believe his progress at ACA speaks for itself. He enjoys going to school every day, and is disappointed that there is no school on the weekends! He has learned so much in just a few short months. He is now begining

All four of my children attended Agape Christian Academy throughout their elementary and secondary years. All have graduated from ACA and gone on to college, and all comment on the excellent academic preparation for college they received. They were educated by Christian men and women who not only cared

ACA offers an excellent curriculum, outstanding sports program, opportunities for community service, and a staff who prays daily for their students. The educational process is approached from a Christian viewpoint and the school reinforces the Biblical truths and principles we believe as a family. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
