This middle school reflects the values of the principal which is very different from what the majority of the community want. I moved into this school system because of the wonderful elementary school and I stayed in the school system becasue I did not want my child to have to change schools (I had that experience and it can be very difficult). I think that the school is really good, and any parent that doesn't think their kid is learning enough isn't involved. The kids who do badly don't try or care about school. As far as extracurricular activities they are very good. the school does not fund them hardly at all until u get to High School. If your child has any behavioral problems at all do not send them to this school, they will have a very hard time. The 'positive learning center' isn't actually so positive.

It is nice to see how someone got the students to write great reviews, someone was clever. I am unimpressed with the structure of the curriculum and how unorganized assignments are. I find my child not learning the skills needed for high school. What happened to the basics? This school is too liberal

This school has really helped me a lot. When I had a question they had answers. When I had a problem, they had solutions. The staff at the school helps the kids in class, and at home with the website that has acess to all the homework assignments and e-mailing capabilities to contact the teachers at

This is a good school. We are taught many things to prepare us for the high school. Although some of the classes we have may be topics we don't need to know, we learn good skills through the activities and work we do. Although some kids complain about their teachers it doesn't mean they aren't doing

Every one who is dessapointed in the middle school needs to lighten up, all my teachers are doing the right thing. We are learning about other cultures and government. All thouse classes are very important. Most kids in this school are good students and all you parents out there that don't like this

It is sad that those in the community feel their child's time in Middle School is successful if they have not fallen behind from where they were when they left elementary school. My daughter has been in this school district for5 years my husbands family graduated from mchs along w/ my niece no school is perfect but the teachers have been great to my daughter all the people complaining about the system why dont you do something to help. Its not just the schoools responsibility

Advanced Placement
