I've had many problems with the school ever since I was in BBCA. I despised it because of the curriculum, the pupils, and the faculty. There were times when I noticed bias toward the students, and the way the principal handled particular situations seemed so biased. It was extremely inappropriate when the principal got involved in certain students' relationships (friends and such). Racist remarks from students never got punished and still went to school, even when they persisted. The education provided by BBCA was subpar; there were no challenges or opportunities for collaboration on projects like group projects. Although I thought the high school teacher was excellent and still valued his instruction, some comments, from him, that I felt were unnecessary and insensitive. Information on sciences, chemistry, English, and other subjects felt dated in the curriculum, for example, English PACES was one of the workbooks or PACEs, that dates back to the 1990s. The use of students as teachers was another thing that I felt was wrong. When a teacher wasn't in the classroom, high school or occasionally middle school students had to step up to assist their peers.Overall, I wouldn't advise anyone to attend this school, especially if you're going to middle school or high school. My friends and the little moments that made my years there bearable helped me create good memories at this school. However, my impression of BBCA was not favorable. I will regret attending BBCA because it seems to me like I've been attending an elementary school for five years.

This school is not up to par on various levels. At first glance the school appears mediocre at best. The inside is dated, worn and uninviting. Despite all of this we were open to giving it a chance because our son was familiar with the Abeka curriculum and they offer small class sizes. Parents are not made aware of basic information that any good, organized school would provide. For example, they don’t send initial information on a child’s daily schedule, (only teachers are privy to that information) introductions of the teachers, what your child is working on at school, behavior systems used in the classroom. NOTHING! Furthermore, you aren’t able to contact the teacher directly via email for questions. You have to go through the school for any type of communication. There is occasional 1–2-minute conversations at the end of day during pick up with the teacher. Most of the time the principal is present at dismissal and would constantly interject herself into conversations that didn’t involve her. For example, when having a simple conversation with the teacher about where my child’s mask was, she interjected with rude comments about the school not being able to accommodate individual parent requests (Masks are currently optional). We were informed that our child had demonstrated disruptive behaviors on the 4th day of school by a phone call which was the first time this type of behavior was mentioned to us. We were told on the same after that incident that he would need to listen to the teacher if he wanted to remain at the school. Completely inappropriate and unnecessary. The principal micromanages her staff, interjects inappropriately and honestly doesn’t demonstrate the knowledge and experience as it relates to educating the whole child and running a school. The principal is completely out of line in dealing with parents and disrespectful. On the website you cannot find any information about the teacher’s background or credentials. There is no information about the principal’s experience either. They are not about educating the whole child and the focus is mainly academics. In our last interaction with her the principal dealt with us unprofessionally made several offensive comments including macroaggressions. This school is far from a Christian organization. Don’t be fooled by the prayer they will have with you. It’s all a Facade. Avoid at all costs!

My daughter has been enrolled for 2 years, and we have received outstanding academic and personal support from the school's staff. I highly recommend BBCA...

This school has been a huge blessing for my daughter. The teachers and staff have a heart for the students and a love for God that is very rare to find. They genuinely care about the students. The academic standards are wonderful and the classes are small, so the students get a lot of attention from the teacher. After being at the school for several years, my daughter tested 4 years above her grade level. I am so grateful that my daughter is a part of this school. The building is small and doesn't stand out from the outside, but the minute you walk through the doors, you know you're somewhere special. I highly recommend this school to any parent who seeks a loving environment and an excellent education for their child.

Anonymous- This school is ok, but there are no clubs, sports, or extracurricular activities. Plus the children in highschool and middle school are treated like trash unlike the kindergarten and elementary school kids. It is kind of unsanitary, with bad smelling classrooms and break rooms, and the rules are over the top and unfair. Kids are many times unsupervised, which leads to inappropriate behavior seen by younger classes. It is unorganized and the older kids are unable to go on field trips. Not to mention that some children are "favored" and are giving rewards and special privileges. Like the students with parents working at the facility are giviven cupcakes, donuts, and other things in front of other students. Chapel time is also does not really help the children in the school grow spiritually. Also, the dress code at the school is quite ridiculous, with innocent logos, even with ones of Christian material, are usually banned if deemed to large to fit under a teacher's hand. I do not recommend you send your child to this school I believe they will not enjoy it
