My son currently attends the elementary school and loves it. We started last year in the pre-k program mid-way through the year and I was so thankful to have him there. He's very high energy and requires a more alternative approach to doing things rather then just sitting at a desk. I felt like his teacher

The fundamentals that are taught here are head and shoulders above the rest of the county's public school. They may not have a lot of 'Extras' to add in the way of sports etc. for the older kids- but for now, elementary is where it's at for me! I'd recommend this school to anyone with young children! I attended the PTF meeting last night. The information given was that SMCA's standardized testing scores are well above the national standards! So, not only are my children getting a nurturing school environment where their teachers pray before each class, but a top notch education! Thanks to all

If SMCA isn't required to attend teacher conferences, why do they do it every year? You know how most schools don't get out for Thanksgiving break untile Wednesday. We get out the whole week, because our tescher are at a conference. Every year it alternates between elementary and secondary teachers going

I thank God for SMCA and am thankful for the opportunity to send my children there. In a time where children are taught worldly standards and told they are able to do what they feel is right, I am so thankful SMCA follows the Word of God - God's standards. Beware, regardless of what the school says, they are not an accredited school through ACSI. They may be members, but any one can sign up for membership -- even you. Their teachers are not required to attend ACSI conferences. Those who do must take leave and pay their own way. They do not require

Do your due diligence if you chose to place your child here. The negative postings on this site are accurate. As a parent, I have nothing but praise for SMCA! I believe their teachers are the best that can be offered. Many have been at the school for more than 15 years and all are Chrisitians. The teachers do not just get through the curriculum, they add information to it that is applicable to the time

I have to start by agreeing 100 percent with the 2 previous posters. The teachers are no qualified, and administration does try to get by just doing the minimum. Just putting together a church, classrooms, books, and people willing to sit at a teachers desk doesn't make a school. The administration of this school tries to get away with the minimum.
