I think William B Wade is an awesome school. The teachers and pricipal is wonderful. I have had three children attend Wade with in the past 13 years it has been a wonderful school from the beginning. I hope to be here for a few more years.THey have a wonderful parent involement also.

My 3 children go to Wade and I have only good things to say about the teachers. They take teaching seriously and care for their students. I have never seen a more involved or caring principal. She is top notch. One of my sons was being bullied and made fun of and the school counselor took care of

My child has attended Wade for four years. It has been a wonderful experience for all of us. All of his teachers have been the best. Wade is an awesome school with a caring staff of teachers and administrators. Anytime my children have needed extra assistance in math or reading the teachers have always offered materials or extra assistance to tend to the problem or difficulty. They have a great number of volunteers who come and do work for the teachers which relieves some of their stress and gives them more time to tend to the children. The school has high expectations for the children both academically and behaviorally. Classroom student size can be very high at times (25-30 kids) but that is just the nature of the growing community. It would be nice if they could acquire more space in order to expand the school and parking lot. They have one of the highest MSA scores in the county if not the highest. Read less

I am a grandmother of six. I have four grandsons who attend Wade Elementary school, and without a doubt Wade is the best school in the county at this time! The teachers and office staff know every student by name and treat every one with the respect. I have volunteered at the school in the past year
... Read more and see how great this school is. I have seen with my own eyes how caring the staff is. What other school does the principal know every student by name (more than 400 students). If anyone has had a bad experience at Wade the only thing I could think of is that that person must have had a bad day and went in with a bad attitude themselves. Read less

My daughter has attended Wade since Kindergarten and she's had a wonderful experience. ... Read more by far the worst our son has attended. The academics are up to par, but the atmosphere in the school leaves alot to be desired. With such a high military population in the area, this school should have no problem helping the new kids adjust to the academic requirements specific to MD. The office staff was rude on more than on occasion. After the 1st four months of the 06-07 school year we pulled our son out and are happily homeschooling where he is learning in a fun, safe environment. Read less

Advanced Placement
