This is an excellent school. The principal, Mrs. Penelope Martin, does an excellent job. Most of the teachers care about the students. The curriculem there is tough to make well-rounded students. I am a student that goes to Deer Park. I am a sixth grader and I say that Deer Park is wonderfull. Ms.Martin is very nice and Ms.Sebastian helps people with situations and stops fights. I attended DPMMS for two years (2004-2006) and although the school had a few problems, the faculty and staff worked very hard to give at least basic understanding to the children. I am a freshman at the Blatimore pOlytechnic Institute and graduated from Deer Park. I really didnt like the school because i felt unchallenged. Here at poly, I feel that i was right. I was not readily prepared for high school. The principle is excellent but she just is too buddy buddy with the kids.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
