OHHS has a massive amount of Diversity and Great programs such as the Music Dep. which went to play in ...  Read more

I am currently a freshman at Oxon Hill High School in the Science and Tech program. On my first day at this school, I was scared to death because of Oxon Hills reputation. But after the first day, you realize that its just like any other high school. Actually, I'm probably better off here than at Gwynn ...  Read more

My son is a sophomore at Oxon Hill High School. He is in the Science & Tech Program. The program is excellent. He is flourishing in the program. He has fine instructors who are always willing to discuss any issues you may have. Yes, the school has its problems as a whole, but the acting principal ...  Read more

Oxon Hill is overcrowded as all PG high schools are, but the staff and programs at Oxon Hill make this high school stand out. It is one of the best high schools in PG. My son attended in 2005 and now my daughter is a freshman. I am truly satisfied with all aspects of the HS. If more parents would get ...  Read more

My dtr. will be graduating this school year (06). Yes, the school is overcrowded, but where are the parents to revote against this problem. They say OHHS will be rebuilt in a couple of years. Parents don't sit by and let this not happen. These are our children in these schools. Stand for your children. ...  Read more

I was once a student at OHHS and the setting led me down the path of destruction. Luckily I have transferred out and I am doing fine now. I agree with some of the others about how the school is overcrowded, under staffed, and unsafe. I know the feeling of not being able to eat lunch because you spend ...  Read more

As a current senior, Sci&Tech and advanced classes are the only saving grace of the school. Sadly, the school is crumbling otherwise. Lack of discipline and disrespect are everywhere; these are qualities that should be implanted at home. The school is wavering because of these areas; otherwise I feel ...  Read more

OxonHill High is going to end up a war zone if the teachers and administrators don't come to grips that the kids are the ones who want to run it. It's not all the kids it just so happens that Oxonhill has a club feel rather than a school feel the way the girls dress is horrible. leaving side doors open ...  Read more
