My son attended concordia from preschool all the way through eighth grade. Overall, it was an okay experience. Our family experienced many rough spots along the way though. ... Read more they have lost all passion. Beware, many of these older teachers have really bad attitude problems! the lack respect for their students but more importantly the parents. As far as the 'christian education' . . . Religion is all lost in complacent rituals and practices. The school has a religion class for all that seemed to beat christianity on the ground. My son has attended Concordia since pre-school and has done extremely well. So well in fact that he scored highly on his high school placement test. He was accepted into a very challenging high school program. Well done Concordia!!!

Great school, great teachers, supporting administration. Rules and guidelines are clearly delineated. Some parents come in and want to change the school to fit their ideas--these would be unhappy. The school know its priorities--Jesus is the center of all that we do. Academic standards are set high
... Read more and children are encouraged to do their best in all that they do. Communication between school and faculty is great--Monday notes tell all each week. No child is allowed to close down and stop doing work. Parents are called or informed frequently of behavior--both bad and good. It's a great place to entrust your precious child. Read less

... Read more up academically. With the strong religious emphasis, I grew socially & emotionally. It was such a good fit for me and the first time in my life I began to enjoy school again, want to learn, and excel in school. The teachers are kind, caring, & hold students accountable for learning. I was sad to leave Concordia, but I knew that they prepared me well. I am an 18 year teaching veteran and PhD student. Although the student makeup has changed, teachers continue to be dedicated and hard working inspiring new future leaders. Read less

I am a parent of an 8th grade student who has been attending Concordia Lutheran School since Pre-K. I have absoultely enjoyed the time my child has had there. He is not just another student, the teacher's there are willing to work with you and your child if there is an area they are struggling in and they also a very good about recognizing the students good deeds and efforts of your child. AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School
