By 2nd period, I had met new people already and I felt like I wasn't the 'new kid' anymore. As the year has gone on, it has just gotten better.

As a Dad, I believe this school and the middle school have been excellent thus far. Like all schools, there are a few teachers who push liberal politics and seem to have their own agenda. But, overall, the school is very good. My son is a solid 'B' student and is active in sports. The coaching staff

Boonsboro High has thus far proven it is a great school. One of our children was flagged with a possible learning disability by an independent resource. We advised the school of our concern. We were amazed at the response from the administration. As far as cliques go, that, I believe is more

The administration is ill-equipped, the teachers are ignorant and inexperienced, and the building is falling apart due to the lack of funding (or mismanaged budgets). The students are prepped before the HSA is given. This preparation basically consists of covering material that is known to be

I am told that if the general population of the school scores poorly on the assessment then more funding and other resources will be made available to the school. However, if the general population of the school scores well on the assessment then the administration and teachers are commended for their excellence. It is as if the same 10 or so mothers and maybe a father attend every event. It is every parents responsibility to do the same. In order to grow children need unconditional encouragement and parent apathy is the most tragic aspect of Boonsboro High. Read less
