Both of my children attend Calvary Lutheran. Very friendly atmosphere, teachers take an interest in your kids and parents are encouraged to be active in school activities. Teachers are excellent, school leadership is above average and academic programs are challenging for the kids. Highly recommended.

As with any situation, sending your children to Calvery Lutheran is a mixed bag. On the one had, the classes are small, the teachers are caring, and the school is safe. Students gain a solid spiritual foundation. On the other hand, instruction is not great, teachers are ill-suited to support children

My oldest daughter went to public school for 4 years and attended 5th grade at Calvary. Most of the work was review of what she had previously learned in public school and she was bored most of the year. I pulled my other kids out last year and am glad I did. I learned the hard way that Calvary's basic curriculum does not meet the standards of a good private school. Read less

AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
