Read what parents are saying about Shrewsbury Montessori SchoolIt used to be a good school, but not now. The current Shrewsbury Montessori School cares too much about the money, not the kids
Posted by a parent on 10/31/2023The teachers and staff are great. Unfortunately, the head of school, Amy Shen is creating a toxic work environment which is causing staff/teachers to leave. The school has lost over 10 teachers in the last year alone. The school board president Pradeep P. Nazarey was made aware of the situation by multiple teachers and did nothing. He also does not respond to emails. All they care about is money. The school used to be great. I would avoid it now at all costs. There are a lot of other Montessori schools in the area.

Posted by a parent on 2/14/2017Shrewsbury Montessori School is a school where students love learning. Students are cared for and guided in all aspects of their educational journey.
Posted by a community member on 2/14/2017We have had a positive experience for the fourth consecutive year with our daughter at Shrewsbury Montesorri School. She is currently in the first grade and reads at between second and third grade levels. Her math skills exceed our standard expectations and is immersed in French language comprehension four time per week. She takes a computer class and music theory. We especially appreciate the format of three grades together to encourage and inspire each other.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am not sure who that parent is that left the long message yesterday but today I was considering pulling my kid out the school and I asked about home schooling yesterday for some of the same reasons. However today Im going in to fight for all our children because this is ridiculous. They also get a kick out of recording your kids and calling them problem children instead of trying to help the issues in our area.Parent Review1y ago - Al-Hamra Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school has great education, though sport, clubs, STEM, student council, and other extracurricular activities to be lacking. I am a student that transferred in third grade from Worcester, Grafton street school. I got straight A, and when I transferred I got straight D's even in 3rd grade. All the teachers have Masters, PHDs, and degrees like Engineering, biotech, English literature. Most transferring students have a similar story as mine. The school, or class environment I was in was very competitive for grades that can leave students behind. I would recommend your child to go to a after school Math, or English program if they're having trouble since the teachers will not slow or ease the class just to accommodate a student or two. If your child isn't doing great make sure you help them, this school isn't easy, and might need you to tutor your child. Most people when they complete middle school go straight into honors with relative ease. Most classes have 10-15 students with an average of 4-5 teachers that teach different subjects. Teachers knows every students strength, and weakness, though some teachers get to personal with the students. If you want your child to stay afterschool to do clubs, sports, and stuff like that this school is not it. Though before the pandemic they were making large advancement in extracurricular activities they had STEM, robotics where they got to state, girls on the run, knitting, cooking, football, they were in partnership or creating their own sports team I'm not sure though, I forgot. Great school for academics, not so great for extracurricular activities.Other Review1y ago - Alhuda Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI do not know how this state allow such low performing school to fool the muslim community. This place need so much reform and a lot of attention from the responsible from the people who run the educational system. Very shameful. I will never forgive you for what you did to my child. God will take care of you all.Parent Review3mo ago - Lilliput Early Childhood Center

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school suited all my children, even though they had very different personalities. Teachers went out of their way to meet the needs of my children and were good at communicating with my husband and me about their progress at schoolParent Review3y ago - Lilliput Early Childhood Center
