Our daughter transferred into MHMS for 8th grade and we are thrilled. The teachers are available both before and after school, if needed, they are kind and knowledgeable. The other students have been welcoming and made her feel right at home. The administration is excellent. I would highly recommend this school and wish we had moved her there sooner!

We joined the school for 6th grade and could not be happier. It is a rigorous education in a supportive environment. Good families and old fashion values. We would recommend to others strongly!

My oldest child has graduated from MHMS and the faculty at her rigorous private high school frequently comment on how well prepared she was for high school. She has carries herself with an air of self-confidence we know bloomed because of her time at MHMS, middle school is truly middle school, and not high school beginning in 7th grade. We are thrilled our younger children will have the same opportunity to thrive by attending MHMS.

Our child is a current student at this school and is having a wonderful experience. We are especially happy with the work done in the English Language Arts program, with word study and writing.

An overall good school. WORKLOAD: 6th is normal, 7th is a good amount, 8th is barely anything. CURRICULA: Religion is a great class. The teachers are very good at what they teach and you are prepared for going to a Catholic high school. The science program is great, with 70+ lab reports a year. The math program stinks (see below). Everything else is pretty decent, except for the Technology (computer) class, which focuses on all the wrong things. TEACHERS: The teachers are really excellent. The administration is so-so and there are a few sour tarts, but the really good teachers make up for it all. FACILITIES: Sub-par. The school's area is constricted, which is understandable, but it does not make up for the deplorable computers for student use, extremely dated and rarely-used laptops, and sluggish or sometimes nonexistent Internet. Only one congested staircase - people frequently get hurt. Bathrooms are always in bad shape. Desks are covered with ink daily by rowdy students. At a 1,000-attendee Catholic high school, not a single desk was so much as scratched. Some other problems: The Math Honors classes are based on a spoils system and not grades. There is only a basketball team.
