My son has done very well at this school. They have challenged him academically, as well as provided many opportunities for extra curricular activities. I never have a problem getting my son up and ready for school as he enjoys school so much. I think this says a lot when you have a child, at 15,

I currently attend Murdock. I am from class of 2007. I, from personal experience, do not like my high school. I do not agree with everything they do, but that's why they are the autorities. Our school has not been the idol for most curriculums, and our test scores are low. However we've kicked it up

Murdock has to be one of the worst schools in the country. How the teachers received their teaching certificates is beyond me. There is no structure or basics in any of the classes. Teachers are either weak or bull-headed, and none of them have any disciplinary tactics whatsoever. Parents do not get

Regular guidance sessions were requested, which was not carried through on a regular basis. Students don't care about their school work or actions because the teachers don't care. They just want to get the year over with. As far as I'm concerned, there is way too much attention on the extracurricular than on the academic. If I could afford it, I would place my child in some other, more qualified school system. Read less

The grade 10 MCAS is a high school graduation requirement. The MCAS is a standards-based test, which means it measures specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Massachusetts.
