My children went to SMK Elementary from 2001-2008. The teachers are the best around. If your child receives services (OT< PT< Speech) you will find no better. They are busy people, but the best in the business. If you are an involved parent, you will have no problems. So get involved!

I have a child in kindergarten and one in grade 3. I was a bit worried about sending my kids here based on what other people said. I am glad to say that I am extreemely impressed with the security of the school and the continuous upgrading of the teaching staff. The guidance department has been exceptional

My daughter attended the Pre K program last year and is currently in SMK Kindergarten. She loves it! She has three wonderful teachers. She has had a few problems with a couple little boys in her class and the teachers straightened it out right away. I feel comfortable sending my daughter to school there.

I have 3 children in SMK. I love the school and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the teachers. However, I have a child on an IEP and I had to hire a Child Advocate to get my child what they needed. The Special Ed Dept is not good and the Superintendent is unreachable and arrogant.

My sons kindergarten teacher does an excellent job in keeping me informed and up to date. At times my son does not pay attention in class, he says he gets bored. I think he needs to be challenged more. I also believe there should be a program for student who excel in school. I believe children should

My son is in 3rd grade at SMK. We have had great years. My only suggestion is to have programs for children who excel in school. This will keep the challenged and not accept the minimal they can do. Boredom can lead to this. I love the after school programs they added at the end of last year.

Advanced Placement
