My two children have gone to Odyssey from preschool (younger) and kindergarten (older) through 7th grade (younger) and 8th grade (older). This is definitely a quality school! Even though the classes don't always seem as structured as the public schools, the information is there and the learning happens.

My daughter has attended Odyssey for two years now. I could not have found a better school for her to attend. Education is above & beyond with many additional extra options for the children from Spanish, Theater, Music, Insturmental to many educational field trips & small classes. You know the saying
... Read more 'You get what you pay for?' At Odyssey you can expect just that. Students don't have one teacher for subjects they have several all specializing in that catagory. My child truely benefits from attending this school. Offers educational classes for Infant, Toddler, PreK, K, 1-8th grade a major plus for the students no change up of schools until High School the way Educaton should be. The students are encouraged to exceed & excel in all areas. Head of School making changes that clearly Upgrade the childrens edcuation. Students & Parents have a say here. Odyssey is a find. It is a small, Independent school with a positive, proactive community spirit. The academic curriculum is competitive, yet the students are encouraged to be critical thinkers. I highly recommend this school for quality elementary education.

My son has had a fabulous experience at Odyssey for the past four years. There is a new Head of School who seems to be taking the school to the next level. Things are feeling much more organized and the leadership of the school feels strong and stable. I could not recommend the school more highly. And

My two sons have attended this school for one year. I chose not to continue their enrollment because I found it to be much more of a day camp type atmosphere than an educational center. I do not understand how they expect the children to learn to compete in todays world without giving them more structured

My daughters recently visited Odyssey Day School for the annual Science Fair and Ice Cream Social. They are both proud to be Odyssey alums! ... Read more and were not unnecessarily burdened with standardized tests. Hands-on experiential learning always kept them motivated and involved. The multi-grade groupings made it possible for them to experience being academic leaders from a very young age. The arts were especially strong including, band, chorus, art, and drama. Socially the school has an active parent community. Both parents and teachers are very down to earth and committed to the school. My child's class rarely read a textbook, but played trivia games about history, geography and science knowledge. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course.
