Ephraim Curtis is generally a very good school, however the school is a bit of a rudderless ship and has not had a truely strong Principal for several years. The teachers need direction and I would like to see this issue corrected this year. There is nobody at the top to discuss issues with.

I just started 7th grade at ECMS. This is my second year there, and although it can be a little overwhelming (3 projects by the 4th day of school) it is a great place. The teachers are usually all great and they are great with the kids. Almost any new kid would easily be able to join in and feel like

If you are thinking of moving here, it would be a great idea to do so. there are lots of extra-curricular/ after school activities to do for almost everyone, including the school play, which is a huge event here. The school is terrible for its reputation. Most of the teachers do not really care about there subject and most of the kids are behind goin into High school. The kids of the twon go to provate school in order to avoid this school that is run terribly. The new principal is awful also.

We moved to Sudbury at the beginning of middle school and what a mistake! The cliques at this school were horrendous. My daughter was harassed verbally and physically. It got so bad that my daughter had to drop out of school in the middle of eighth grade and was tutored at home. She then transferred

However, we did not receive any support from the school counselors or the teachers. My daughter, by the way, is going to be a National Merit SemiFinalist. This school made no effort to accomodate academically gifted students. Read less
