As a student i do believe respect comes first to the teacher. But i'm going to say that some of the teachers don't return the favor. I find this school OK and decent but one thing i really do not find acceptable is the way this school handles discipline. If a student is referred to the office he/she ...  Read more

I went to this school for two years, my freshman and senior year. Never have I been more disrespected, tortured and teased by students. Teachers usually don't care or do much for it and write it off as kids will be kids. The principal told me my freshman year that when I was made fun of for being hispanic ...  Read more

Due to the everdecreasing budget of the Stoughton School system, the quality of one's experience at SHS is declining. This upcoming school year, the list of extracurriculars and clubs is half of what it was last year. Overall, SHS is a decent place for a decent education. Compared to other schools of ...  Read more

I'm a gradutating Senior this year and I gotta say, I feel so at home at Stoughton High. The teachers and the students have a great relationship, and the east going yet still hard working atomosphere of the school is great to work in. I'm so proud to say I've attended there so far and I'll miss it dearly ...  Read more

The principal really got involved in the school and the teachers worked hard to make sure everyone was doing well. I felt ready and prepared to apply to college and was accepted to all 6 of the schools ...  Read more

Overall, the school is highly unintelligent and does not intend to help their students if it is out of a comfortable opportunity, such as when the student can specifically name what they have trouble with and when they take time out of their lives to find the teacher after school, that is if they can ...  Read more

My son is entering SHS in the fall 2006. I was so impressed with the professional attitudes of every administrator and teacher. The time the principal spent with my child and I was so reassuring of his sincere concern for students academic achievement. As a parent, I am really looking forward to getting ...  Read more

My sister and I graduated in the 70's. My sister's son graduated in the 90's. My son will graduate in 2007. From the 1970's to the present, Stoughton public schools have provided outstanding education standards for their students, despite budget and staff issues over the years. The ability to contact ...  Read more

Stoughton High School was the best school I have ever been to. The teacher to student ratio is good, and the enviroment is healthy. It seems as if the teenagers there are willing and ready to learn.
