I am currently a 7th and 8th grade teacher at Altantic Middle School. I have previously taught at both Broadmeadows and Point Webster. The attitufe of the teachers and administration at this school far exceeds any other I have been exposed to. Additionally, the motto of respect includes all adults

The Administration, guidance and teachers are without a doubt fully involved in their students success, and if any parent feels otherwise then it is their responsibility to call or email their child's teacher to straighten things out. Personally, I beleive that my students' success if my success, and I welcome all parent calls or letters. Teachers have over 100 children they are responsible for, most parents may have a few, making it more reasonable for parents to call teachers with concerns than the other way around. Read less

I have the misfortune of a child who currently attends Atlantic. The teachers are at best disinterested. The assistant principal Dr. Wolf is scattered, unavailable for parent conferences, and has the affect of one who is frightened of the individual pupils. Overall, this is not a place for learning

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Vocational and/or technical courses offered within a comprehensive school, usually a senior high school.
Special Education Classes
A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
