This school is just amazing! Lexington is a great town and the middle schools compete with each other (we all know that Diamond is better) to improve ourselves and our school community

For bright kids, this is one of the best middle schools you could find. Kids are consistently challenged and as a well educated adult I find the teachers extremely competent and engaging. I would like to disagree. Being in the school, many teachers have been kind and helping, the excellent courses, etc. In comparison to another school (which also has a middle school in it), this school has a much better environment. In addition, both the teachers and students here are kind and caring.

I agree with the comment about blame. This is probably the most kid-unfriendly, incompetent, schools I've experienced. With a few notable exceptions the staff is uncaring and incompetent, and the curriculum is stifling, disorganized, and irrelevant.

Diamond has a culture of blame. When a child is struggling the school's attitude is not to listen to the parent but rather to say that they know best and to blame the parent and the child.

Great school. It os highly academic and the teachers care very much about the kids.
