I left a public school to attend NDA and immediately saw a remarkable difference. The students are actually interested in learning, and the teachers are patient and caring making sure that every girl understands. I believe that young girls in an all girl environment gives them a chance to grow and develop
... Read more into herself without the distractions and influence that boys impose at this age. I felt as if this were the first time in my life that I was actually learning. Although not particularly religious, I now appreciate the life lessons that religion classes such as Justice and Morality taught regarding how to live life as a good person and member of society. NDA is a presents a very warped view of reality to girls already sheltered from life. They come out feeling superior in a diverse world that just doesn't have room for such nonsense. NDA was an amazing high school experience. The teachers really got to know you and would help with anything you didn't understand. The athletic and extracurricular activities are really high quality too. The Catholic environment really stresses the love of God and our responsibility to our neighbors.

Not a fantastic school to attend. Academically, it is a very good and challenging college prep. Plenty of music/art/sport/drama programs. Its easier to get a high school job with this school on your resume, so if you would rather work after school, you can. If you do nothing else at NDA, just get through

This school is great. The teachers are warm, inviting and make you feel comfortable. But, they are also very demanding and the courses are rigorous. It is a challenging and rewarding place to be.
