This is a wonderful school system joining two small towns. Many families in the area send their teens to private schools but Dover/Sherborn families take advantage of an excellent High School.

Dover Sherborn is one of the best school in Massachusetts. Its education offered there is great and the faculty is top notch. Even though the school is a public school, it seems to be just as good most private schools. The courses are challenging and the children get the best education possible.

I agree with the prior comments made in December 2007. Many subjects are outstanding; however, the foreign language, especially Spanish needs an overhaul.

Outstanding guidance, science, math, english departments. Though Spansih is not at the same level, Latin & French students get great preparation. ECs are average, parent involvement & safety and discipline are high. The principal and vice principal are gems!

Could possibly be the best school in massachusetts. Excellent education, with inovative teachers who push students to acheive their true potential. Teachers try to challenge students by putting them into AP courses. DS has all the opportunties for a student to succeed. Athletically, the school produces
... Read more some of the finest athletes with multiples student-athletes continuing their athletics at the college level. This year (2006)the lacrosse team made it to the state finals. I highly reccomend DS, and if you can't survive DS then you can't survive with the elite and most competitive bunch of kids. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Vocational and/or technical courses offered within a comprehensive school, usually a senior high school.

A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
