... Read more that might have been promised are nearly always cut. There is a lack of variety here within the courses and students. Most students pertain the lifestyle of the typical 'high-schooler', with a very immature and apathetic personality towards school, and their peers. Not to mention a lack of discipline in administrative actions, most accumulate to a slap on the wrist, and the enforcement of form/money/permission slip, etc deadlines are nonexistent. If you would like to send your child off to this school, just know that in return, they will endure an awful experience. Read less

I am a teacher at this school and I must say its very poor. They do not pay the right amount compared to other schools in the area. The technology in the school is also very out dated and poor. Stay away from this school by all means!

In order to assure his graduation and to be able to concentrate on his disease, I was forced to move him to another school that was more accommodating. He is doing much better and we're glad we removed him from the Douglas Public School system. Read less

I'm a student here and I think that it's a great school. Even though we're one of the smallest schools around there are lots of class choices and extracurricular activities that we can participate in. We're always encouraged to do our best and succeed.

My child is a student in this school. She is on the high honors program and her spelling is extremely poor. I am surprised at some of the papers she takes home. There is never any correction from the teachers on her misspelled words. I expect this to be part of the job of teaching. I feel the error

* In 2007-2008 Massachusetts used the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS) to test students in grades 3 though 8 and 10 in English language arts and math, and in grades 5 and 8 in science. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
