My children have been at the school for 4 years. My husband and I have been thrilled with the education (the kids are doing accelerated classes compared to the public counterparts). In addition, the school reinforces the respect and commitment to our community and others that we work on at home.
... Read more All children are involved with fine arts at the school and it has been great to watch the older students mentor younger students. The newer (2 years) administration has taken an aggressive approach to implementing an even stronger curriculum and has worked closely with the parent guild. We have made so many great new friends as parents as well. We are quite happy with all aspects of the school. Read less

My child loves St Mary's school. It is a delight to see him so excited to go to school every day. He is being taught great values and the love of learning. Knowledge and compassion are important and his teacher is bursting of it. We are very pleased with the whole school.

... Read more good. My daughter is in the 8th grade and son is in the 5th. My daughters middle school teachers are strict and tough, but the end result is they are ready for High school. I believe it is their hard work and the work of the early grades that gives this school such a high standard. I hope they keep up the high standard for my kids. Parents that do not like the middle school just want to baby their kids. Those are the ones who want to lower the standard. Read less

I have had 3 children attend St. Marys and for the most part I am very happy about the school. I was not very happy however about the math program in the 7th and 8th grade. I feel that Ms. Maguire and Mr. Naso did an excelent job teaching Literature and English to the 8th grade. That is deffinitely a
... Read more strong asset to the 8th grade. Since Ms. Maguire has left however it will be very hard to replace her. The sixth grade is a different story. Three years ago that grade was wonderful and I have no idea what has happened to it. Read less

St.Michael's creates a very positve learning environment. The classes are challegning without frustration, as the teachers are very willing to help struggling students. The staff is helpful, courteous and actually know you and your child's name very early on. Everyone looks out for each other (including the children). There are many opportunities for parental involvement if you choose to participate. Uniforms are a great asset! One drawback is they could form more school sport/activites teams. Most families are from different cities and unity could be better served with more activities or teams. Read less

The new leadership has done a great job in improving the school. Middle school liberal arts department needs some improvement. The Math and Science is the tops. Math teacher Mrs. Keon is great I hope she never leaves I have a 2nd grader and hope she is around for her. She has taught 3 of my kids.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
