I experienced significant challenges at the Catholic school, primarily due to subpar teaching and ineffective administration. The teachers lacked the necessary skills to engage students effectively, and the administration seemed indifferent to addressing issues. Overall, the educational experience fell short of expectations.I would also add that bullying is a bad issue in the school and administration does not know how to handle the issues.

Awful experience at SCB. My youngest daughter attended the school for 3 years (3rd through 5th grade) and could not wait to leave. It was by far one of the worst schools any of my children have ever attended. I strongly recommend attending a public school in the area verses private school education at SCB. There is definitely not a postiive correlation between the level of education received and the yearly rising cost of tuition. Save your hard earned money for high school tuition in the New Orleans area, this school does not prepare them for the rigorous curriculum offered in the private schools. In the three years my child attended SCB there was a high turnover in students seeking stronger catholic education in New Orleans private schools. Basically, if you are born and raised in the SCB parish from Pre K on, your in the clique, if not stay away from this school! It is not warm and fuzzy or welcoming by any sense. So blessed to have left the area.

My daughter has been going to this school since PreK3. She absolutely loves her school. The teachers are incredibly devoted to the students. The close knit community is something you cannot find anywhere else.

Our family LOVES SCB. It is home away from home. This is our 4th year there and wouldn't have it any other way. Fantastic teachers, staff and parent involvement. God is good all the time at SCB!

The school is great. My children started reading 3 letter words and counting to 100 in PK4. By the end of kindergarten can read fluently. The school offers hands-on learning to really engage the students and make learning fun. Lastly, thanks to our principal, Ms. Schmidt, offers many more programs - too many to list, but here are a few- engineering, band, drumline, technology, art, robotics...
