I've taught at FPHS for one year and i must say that the children are willing to learn, its just they don't provide them wit the proper learning environment. I graduated from fphs in 06, and i never felt like i was behind in school. I went to lsu and ulm and never had a problem keeping up in school. All this school needs is a little help. We might not be the richest school, we might not have fancy cars to drive, and we don't even have good text books. But we do try our hardest to improve our school quaility. The only thing different about us are the grants we get.

* In 2007-2008 Louisiana used the Graduate Exit Examination for the 21st Century (GEE 21) to test grade 10 students in math and English language arts and grade 11 students in science and social studies. Advanced Placement
