While I do agree with how the school tries to help its students. The website doesn't provide parents any contact info via e-mail or other forms. The only way of contact is through phone. Thibodaux High School is excellent in my opinion. We had our child at ED White where we spent $7000 for tuition and got very little for our money. The teachers at THS are kind, helpful, and a lot more Christian in their treatment of the students. They actually try to help the kids as opposed to ED White

The academic programs or Ok, but the only program geared to help black students in particular I find is not supported very well among the school nor the school board. Especially if your child is involved in sports. This is the only positive program for our black youth and they have to choose between

Thibodaux High School has no academic programs for students who wish to take AP or IB courses at all. The administration is terrible at helping students or showing encouragement of any kind to the students. There are several great teachers at the school and the extracurricular activities are outstanding.

Thibodaux High School is a very well managed school. The teachers there are so respectable. I know for a fact that if I would ever need one on one help from a teacher, I would recieve it. The principal, Mrs. Shelba Harlan is a very nice and well in-tact person. She is firm about her beliefs and decisions.

* In 2011-2012 Louisiana used End-of-Course (EOC) tests to test high school students in algebra 1, English 2, biology 1, and geometry. The EOC is a high school graduation requirement. AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
