Please don't be fooled, with all the rumors about the school, I almost fell into the same category, but after attending I learned better. I would advise any parent that is thinking of sending their child here to be prepared to play an active roll in making sure your child is successful, this is the only way people will began to notice that Green Oaks is more than what you see outside of the school. Green Oaks is a great high school for your child to attend. Do not go by what you hear about the school, come and see for yourself. Our academic level may be low but we do work our best to bring them up. You might hear that all we do is fight and not do work but thats wrong! We try best to prove everyone

Green Oaks High School ia a wonderful school. I have been there for 2 years now and I really enjoy it. I transfered from Captain Shreve HIgh my freshman year and entered Green Oaks my 10th grade year. I am now a senior and will graduate in 2005 and I am proud to say that I am so glad that I left Captain
... Read more Shreve because I was not getting the attention I deserved there, but now that I am at Green Oaks, I am now in the top 10 of my class and I get recognized for a lot. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
