It's time for us to learn to stand on our two feet and grow up. Yet she treats us like little children. She acts like we're babies and we need her to hold our hand all the way. I wouldn't say Plaquemine high school was a terrible school, but it's does need a few improvements. Maybe they are trying to construct an orderly environment, but annoying the students over simple things will only make matters worst. P.H.S is a great school. ... Read more criticize Plaquemine High for not offering a challenging enough curriculum, however, I have found this statement to be false. Students who wish to pursue some form of post-secondary education should enroll because the college-preparatory curriculum is very rigorous and challenging. I attended this school for all four years of my high school career, graduated in the top ten and am now in college. I am not blind to the probelms that the school had, but I must say that I enjoyed my experience there. I loved almost all of my teachers, and felt as if they cared about me as a person.
... Read more I only wished that the school offered more electives--which I understand they now do, in the form of AP classes. I am majoring in education and I intend to go back to PHS and teach there. Hopefully, my school will continue to improve. Read less

I think as for as an opportunity to get a good education, PHS has by the far the most resources of any school in our area including the Private Schools to acomplish that goal. But course I'm sure like 'all' schools in our area we have our problems. But it can be fixed and its not a hopeless situation
