Band is getting bigger and more students are joining. Patterson is also a blue ribbon school. The only bad thing I can say about Patterson high is there can be a lot new changes to our campus. Like maybe like some new classrooms and GYM would be great! Other then that GO JACKS! Read less

I'd also like to add that the track has been repaired with a new black top that is 'squishy.' It's wonderful! They worked on it over the summer and had it ready for the new Fall '07 classes/athletes! They've also added a new set of bleachers for the visiting teams fans! PHS is a great school!

I went to Patterson High School for two years and it was the best two years of my life. Patterson exceeds in sports and extracarricular activities. My son will be entering his seinor year at PHS in fall of 05. I have found it to be a great school. He has come out of a shell he lived in and become involved in a lot more things. The staff has always be very perfessional in their dealings with me. I went there 25 years ago and see it still a school

My daughter attended PJHS and we were very pleased with the quality of educations she received while there. She went on to high school and was adequately prepared to take honors classes because of her strong background in math and English. The teachers are more than willing to meet with parents, and

Could be a great school, however, it is very demoralizing. No toilet paper in restrooms - must ask for it in office. No weapons allowed, however, students must carry lead ball keychain a bit larger than a golf ball to open locked bathroom doors. Supposedly it is because students trash bathrooms, but

Principal nice, but member of 'coaches club' - if you are not a sports player, you don't count much. Band program in particular is bothersome to him. Sports over curriculum at all costs. St Mary Parish school system has only one gifted and talented program and that of course is in Berwick (Country Club area). 4 High Schools in a 20 mile radius gives absolutely no selection in classes!
