Both of my children go to VOL. The school has grown so much over the years. The teachers are wonderful and truly care about the children. The school allows for the kids to be themselves and encourage them to excel in so may ways. I would highly recommend VOL to anyone. There is something different

I enjoyed Vol! I recently graduated from the 8th grade there and I am missing it terribly. I attended Vol since pre-k 3. I had the time of my life there, Vol offers great academics and aa extraordinary religion course. I learned so much about my faith here. If I could go back I would! I plan to send

My 5 year old just started Kingergarten and I attended middle school at VOL in the 80's. The teachers and faculty are wonderful. My daughter can't wait to go to school every day. I highly recommend this school for children of any religion. The academics are excellent. Religion is introduced through

I had four children go to VOL. Unfortunately, my fourth child did not get to finish because of Hurricane Katrina. Two of my four children have graduated from college, the third is in college and the fourth is in a Catholic school in Texas. Visitation served my children very well. Each got into the Catholic
... Read more High School of his/her choice as well as the college of choice. My first two children started at another Catholic School before transferring to Visitation. It was the best thing I could have done for them. Going to another school prior to Visitation made them realize that there was certainly a more enjoyable way of obtaining an education. My third child received the highest academic scholarship given at her 1st choice university and my fourth child misses VOL terribly! Visitation offers 'Daily Oral Language' and 'Daily Oral Geography' that many schools do not. We miss VOL! Read less

This school is a waste of money. All this school cares about is money for this at that. They don't seem to care about the education they provide. They think because there a private school it is better then the public schools. I feel my daughter has not learned enough through out this school year. They
... Read more let them slide so much because there is no Leap type testing. Maybe they should go testing to see how much these students are really learning. I feel with my daughter it is not enough. She will not be returning next year. We will try out the public school in our area. Read less

my daughter went to vol for kindergarden and i was not impressed with the academics she was learning. she was just starting to read books that she already read in pre-k 3 and 4 at another private school and daycare she was going to. my daughter was bored because the work she was learning she already

Read more knew and i felt the school was lagging in that department.i had to send her to another school and what they learned in kindergarden at the new school i sent her to was so far advanced than vol. it was a good school for someone who wants a slower learning pace but it may not pay off when they get to high school they may struggle academically. i felt the whole school year was a waste because she had learned what she was taught back in pre k 3 and 4. We are constantly working to strength our spritual development,academic areas, and extra- curriculum activities. The administrative team is hard working as well. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
