Having a larger school is a definite advantage for the students. This presents an opportunity for more subjects as well as sports. The challenge will be the distance to travel to and from school but in the long run will be invaluable for the student.

When Marion and Linville first combined there were alot of students and parents who did not agree with it. And at first I wa one of those students. But I soon made a lot of new friends and would not wish it any other way. But for the people who want to talk trash about not careing if Linville closed

Marion High School is alright to me. My three siblings and I attend it now. The only one of us that has trouble is my little brother. I like mot of the teachers st Marion. They are interested in our work and actually care about where we might end up in the future, but some teachers do notmake us

I have no problem with exceot for the population of the school. I thibk that they should combine MHS and LHS. It is nonsense to have two schools in a town that is as small as Marion. Advanced Placement
