This school is amazing! State GEE scores were published in the newspaper today - FHS was # 1 in St. Tammany parish. They attained the highest percentage of students that scored basic and above. More importantly, they had the highest number of students that scored adavnced and mastery in Math, English

It draws from all socio-economic strata of the parish, not just the affluent areas. These scores indicate that they are committed to giving ALL their students the best education. They constantly raise expectations. For such a large school, the administration runs an efficient, disciplined and academically challenging school. WAY TO GO FHS! I AM SO PROUD TO BE A Read less

I loved FHS. I went to a local Christian school in Covington and then transferred to FHS for my last two years of school. I felt the education, personal attention from teachers, extra help and attitude were all around better at Fontainebleau High. My only regret is the fact that my mom wasted so much

My first two years at a university has made me realize how fortunate I was to attend a school like Fontainebleau. When looking at my current peers, I see that many didn't quite have the same opportunities I had at Fontainebleau. FHS is a great school to attend and offers such a great overall educational

I graduated from FHS in 2005 and began the following fall at UNO with two scholarships. Positive aspects of the school include a dynamic diversity you won't find at any other high school on the northshore-there is a club/group/organization/team for every student wishing to be involved. I also enjoyed

I do have to complain about the layout...there is only one main hall and with 2000+ students and four-five minutes to stop at your locker and get to class...tardys are almost unavoidable...although still unfairly punishable. My advice-join a team and you'll get away with almost anything. Still a good school. Read less
