My daughter graduated from this school last May and just finished her first year of college with a 4.0 GPA. I don't think she could have had a better high school experience than the one she had at Doyle High School. There is a great relationship between the administration, faculty, students and support
... Read more staff. The principal is approachable and fun but no-nonsense when it comes to discipline so I always felt that my child was in a safe environment conducive to learning. Doyle High is not a large school but it is not tiny either. It is classified as 2A which is 4th out of 7 classifications for the state schools. It was just right for us and our daughter. Read less

Doyle is very small and does not offer many choices regarding courses preparing for college. The parent/teacher conferences that I have ben involved in did not seem very productive toward helping my child at all. The school does offer some pros like the office staff are very friendly and I do like

Doyle is a fantastic school. The administration, counselor and teachers do a great job with the students. My child is graduating this year (2009) and will be well prepared for college. She is taking college prep courses and the counselor helped her enroll in college classes as well. The senior sponsors
... Read more have brought them to visit a college and the counselor has already begun working on scholarships with the seniors. The school may be small in size but they are big when it comes to compassion, academics, success and giving all students a chance. I'll take that any day over a big school with their big problems. As much as i complained about doyle while i was in it, i've come to realize i would've felt the same at any school..doyle is not a bad place, there are doctors, state sentators, and state reps that graduated from doyle..so it must not be that terrible!!..and the sports may not be all that great,, but

Read more they'll get it back runnin..the baseball team is starting to finally get it back, they could've went all the way last year..but mainly for Doyle i can say that it is the friendliest and most welcome school to new students who come in..everyone at doyle are somewhat friends, and everyone looks out for one another,, with very very few enemies!!!..so take a chance and send ure kids to doyle..i kno i will... This school is too small two of my kids went through it. One did not graduate because of the lack of caring on the teachers part and my childs part. The principal worries about stuff he doesnt need to worry about. I wish you the best if you choose this school. I will not be allowing my kids to go to

Doyle is a very small school. It does not offer a wide variety of courses due to its size. My child is going to attend college after graduation. The lack of variety in curriculum choice is a negative when it comes to preparing her for college. Also, the dealings that I have had with some of the teachers
... Read more have not been satisfying. All of the teachers that I have been in contact with seem very concerned during open house, but if a conference is scheduled they seem less enthusiastic about discussing the child's strengths and weaknesses. Read less

Advanced Placement
