I went to Weston High School. It is an amazing school. I personally know the teachers, and they are some of the best in the state. It is unfortunate really, a town that lacks its own zip code with a god complex. I would not send my dog to Weston after attending there. Everyone knows there is an 'inner-ring' of favorites. Everyone knows who they are too. And too bad if you aren't one! I am not impressed with the teachers, the basketball

I am a proud graduate of Weston High School. Although I only attended the last two years of high school there, I still see it as a blessing. Most can not make comparisons if you have never attended else where. No matter what school you attend there will always be clicks. It's up to you to make the best

As for the teachers at Weston, I personally know several and would like to applaud them for the good works they do. I think it might be shocking to a few who submitted a review to know that Principal Potts should be referred to as a 'she.' If that escaped you then maybe others things have as well. ... Read more making things worse for students and parents. Getting ISS and OSS for stupid things such as shirts being untucked or having gum or candy in your back pack. Many high school students at Weston dispise her and Weston all together because of the 'cliches' that students and teachers make for themselves and other students. Basketball and baseball players are also very favored over regular students at Weston. As a 3 year cheerleader, i have experienced the favoratism over other students, even on school trips. I feel that this school is unsatisfactory and my children will never attend Weston! Read less

I was extremely upset to see a new principal come in and I have yet to determine whether the new prinicipal is 'right' for the school or not. ... Read more have their problems and downfalls but Weston is by far the best school I have been to. I attended Southside Elementary School and Jonesboro Hodge Middle school before I came to Weston. I love Weston High School and it's a very good school. The teachers are great and help you with your needs. So before you put down this school, try it for yourself. It's a truely great school. My son attends WHS. From the beginning, I've noticed there's an inner circle of children from certain 'families' who get away with acts that would mean instant punishment on regular students. In recent years there have been hazing incidents, and racial tension has begun cropping up. I feel the

There is a tight ring of inner politics that goes on here, and while it makes it uncomfortable at times, out of this area, Weston is by far the best option. Read less

I have had a couple of teachers that I haven't been too pleased with but you will have that with any school system and overall I can say that I am VERY pleased with the quality of education that my children are getting at Weston.We have raned 1st in the parish with our test scores several years in a row, which is something that I am very proud of. Advanced Placement
