True, this is an awesome school and it does offer many opportunities and programs for its students. However mostly these opportunities don't go to the 'not-white' kids. Not trying to make it a race thing. Haughton may not be racist, but it s not very fair.

Haughton High is a very well rounded school. It has tons of clubs and sports for students to be invovled with. It also has many rules that are very well followed and enforced by faculty. I graduated from this school. I really enjoyed it and felt that the school had a good bit to offer. The English department is amazing. The teachers such as Mr. Hayden, Mrs. Goslin, and Ms. Allison have done wonders for their students. Them alone have raised English ACT scores for me. I really appreciate

The science department could do a little better, but Mrs. Phillips was an amazing teacher. The math department was fairly good as well! Mr. Thomas has to be the best math teacher. I am a freshman at Haughton this year and I love it! I have great teachers that actually make learning fun. They have expanded some of the campus and put a new math and science building in. Even though its been about a week since I started here all I can say is that this is a great school. :]

I loved my time at Haughton High and love the fact that it was not too big and not too small. I am currently an elementary school teacher and I learned numerous things from the great teachers at Haughton. They were all very caring and dedicated to student learning. Teachers were only strict when needed

This school is a 'good ol school'. Its all about who you know. Most of the teachers grew up in Haughton and same goes for the principal.
