Grant high school has been a wonderful place for my child to grow academically, spiritually, and atheletically. grant is the best high school in grant parish. you really get a good education there. and they have excellent coaches that really work with the athletes to make them to be the best they can be.

I am a Junior at Grant High School and I think that Grant High School is a developing school that offers a very safe and comfortable environment. Most of the teachers are excellent and are doing outstanding jobs while others are lacking in inovating teaching methods and many aren't willing to help the

As a former teacher at Grant High School, I would first like to thank Mr. Crawford for allowing me to have the opportunity to work with some great people an a nice environment. I believe that Grant is heading in the right direction, and that there where alot of things I was able to take away from Grant
... Read more to help me in my professional career. Location may have alot to do with teachers leaving and going, but the mission is clear at Grant High. Education is taken very serious from top to bottom. Also, it is a safe environment to send your child to school. As a graduate of Grant High, the one thing that I can say is the band is top notch. The teachers were not that good, some were teaching subjects that they were not certified to teach in. Most of the teachers could not have cared less about thier students well being, all that mattered was teaching them
... Read more was what required then shooing them out in exchange for the next class. If a student was failing, it was not thier problem. Most of the 4 years I was there, in some classes I had over five teachers for one subject because the teachers were always quiting. How was I supposed to learn when almost every week I had somebody else coming in and starting in a new place? GHS was nothing great. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
