I moved to Doyline from a medium sized town in the North. I must say that I am wasting away here! I have been here for quite awhile now, and each day I become more and more disappointed. Yes I have made some really great friends and am fitting in well, but the school work is practically elementry.

It is ridiculous, I have a math teacher who is actually an English teacher and not qualified to teach math, but does because there is no one else. I am from a small town in Texas and I thought that it was the worst until I put my kids in Doyline. The kids have nothing to keep them driven. I am a student at doyline High School and it does nothing for my education. This school and classes don't challenge me compared to ALL my other schools. They don't have a lot of class choices like Spanish, Home Economics, Theatre, ROTC, etc. I have not learned anything good from here, and the teachers can't teach good because they have to make sure shirts are tucked in, belts are on, the students wear uniform shirts under their jackets. This really cuts in to the class time. Read less
